Rose Geranium and Small Miracles

On a recent visit  home to  Durban, I met Bruce Taylor, a Missionary and Farmer based in Haniville outside Pietermaritzburg in Kwa-Zulu Natal.

Bruce is as passionate about the healing qualities of essential oils as I am. I completely believe that Nature provides us with all the remedies we need for healing and repairing our bodies, whether it’s in the seasonal and locally produced food that we eat, or the plant derived oils we can use to revive and boost our skin.  I make my own creams and  blend oils  and at one stage I created and marketed Skincerity a natural range which my close friend Debbie Burke  and I marketed and sold throughout South Africa.  So when Bruce produced his beautiful Scent of Nature http://bit.ly/23H2Hd8  range and began to talk about  their qualities, he was preaching to the converted.

Talking of preaching, Bruce runs “Walk in the Light” Christian Ministry to provide physical and spiritual help to the local people. He  purchased his farm in 2005 to  support the work of the Ministry and create employment for African people from the community.

The figures tell their own story, 39% are unemployed and within the township of Haniville itself, 60% are Aids victims. The support Bruce and his team offer is invaluable.

The Miracle Of The Rose Geranium Field.

In July 2014 after extreme dry conditions, sugar cane thieves set crop-lands on fire in order to avoid being caught. The farm was decimated and most of the crops destroyed, the sole survivor being the rose geranium field. Bruce and his workers had been processing the essential oil and knew of its qualities, but when he surveyed the damage with a fellow missionary from Pakistan something extraordinary happened. His colleague saw in the saving of the rose geranium, a divine message, he told Bruce it was clear that he was destined to create a healing balm from the oil and that it would lead to the growth of the farm, and the business would create work and secure a better future for the locals who worked there.

Top Five Benefits of Rose Geranium Oil

  • The oil and balm combats Psoriasis, Eczema and Acne.
  • It has a natural antibiotic effect.
  • Possesses anti-inflammatory and anti-ageing properties.
  • It is an immediate remedy for sunburn.
  • Excellent in animal skin disorders.

International Growth

They have worked on and perfected the healing balm and created a whole range of beautifully scented creams each of which has had amazing results. I am smitten, as I can see how very clearly my own skin has benefitted from my having used the cream for almost two months. It has sold all over South Africa and has been exported into North Africa, Germany, England and the US, and now most recently to Ireland.

I make an oil blend with Frankincense and Rose Geranium which I use nightly and it works in conjunction  with the Scent of Nature Healing Balm.  If you want to experience the wonderful effects of this lovely product you can find it here. You would not only be giving your skin a wonderful boost you would also be helping to support a very worthy outreach.
